Folded apple pie
Very simple and quick. I don't have to mention anything about taste ... it's easy to guess.

  • 300g pie crust
  • 250g ricotta cheese
  • 5 apples thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • (whipped) cream to decorate

  1. Stretch the pie crust and lay it in a pan, initially buttered and floured.
  2. Spread cheese in the centre of the crust in the pan.
  3. Separately, remove the apple core without peeling them. To avoid oxidation, keep the sliced apple in water.
  4. Mix the drained apple slices with  sugars, flour and cinnamon.
  5. Put apples in the pie crust and partially fold the crust over.
  6. (optional) Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over.
  7. Bake for 40 min at 190ºC. Cover with foil if the top of the pie becomes too brown.
  8. Serve with whipped cream or cream after cooling.
