Cheese and chives muffins

Salty muffins, perfect in the morning for breakfast, as a starter or to snack between meals.

  • 400g all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 100g emmental cheese (grated)
  • 7 teaspoons dried chives
  • 100g butter (room temperature)
  • 200ml milk
  • 2 eggs

  1. Mix all ingredients with an electric mixer. Without a mixer, mix separately dried and wet ingredients and then combine them.
  2. Pour the mixture into the muffin trays (12 pieces needed) filled 3/4. The cheese will keep them from raising too much.
  3. Bake them in the oven ar 200ºC for 25-30min.
