Roasted potatoes

I love potatoes. They are so common but there is always a way to make them different.

  • 2kg of potatoes
  • rosemary / oregano / sage
  • 8 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 bulb of garlic

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut the big ones in half.
  2. Steam them for 15 minutes. They should be cooked only partially.
  3. Put half of the olive oil in a big pan.
  4. Sit potatoes in a single level. If they are too many, use an additional pan.
  5. Season with salt, pepper and add the remaining oil on top.
  6. Cook them for 30 min at 200ºC.
  7. Take the potatoes out and flavor them with rosemary / oregano / sage and garlic.
  8. Roast for another 30 minute at 200ºC.
Enjoy them as they are, with salad or they can be perfect to garnish any meet.
