This autumn I've got a lot of apples and storing all of them it's a problem. So I need to eat or use them in a cake or something. And, what's better than an apple tart? The answer is an apple tart with almonds! It's quick and delicious!
Ingredients:
- 300g shortcrust pastry
- 6 big apples (stubs removed)
- 50g sliced almonds
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 70g butter
- 50g sugar
Directions:
- Lay the shortcrust pastry on the bottom of the tart pan.
- Slice the apples and put them on the shortcrust pastry.
- Heat the butter, honey, almonds and sugar until you obtain a thick sauce (~5 minutes).
- Pour this sauce over the apples in the pan.
- Bake at 210ºC for 45 minutes.
