Apple and almond tart

This autumn I've got a lot of apples and storing all of them it's a problem. So I need to eat or use them in a cake or something. And, what's better than an apple tart? The answer is an apple tart with almonds! It's quick and delicious!

  • 300g shortcrust pastry
  • 6 big apples (stubs removed)
  • 50g sliced almonds
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 70g butter
  • 50g sugar

  1. Lay the shortcrust pastry on the bottom of the tart pan.
  2. Slice the apples and put them on the shortcrust pastry.
  3. Heat the butter, honey, almonds and sugar until you obtain a thick sauce (~5 minutes).
  4. Pour this sauce over the apples in the pan.
  5. Bake at 210ºC for 45 minutes.
