Ingredients:
- 8 apples
- 200g sugar (for the caramel) + 100g (for the egg whites)
- 5 eggs (whites and yolks separated)
- 5 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 75g nuts
- 5 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon vanila extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 500g whipping cream
Directions:
- Peal the apples and remove the stub.
- Caramelize the 200g of sugar in a pan that will have the size of the cake. Spread the caramel over the borders as well.
- Put the entire apples on the bottom of the pan.
- Put the nuts in the holes of the stubs and near.
- Separately, beat the egg whites with a standing mixer.
- Add sugar and continue to mix.
- Add the yolks and mix gently, at the lowest speed.
- Add flour, baking powder, oil and vanilla extract and mix gently.
- Pour the composition over the apples.
- Put it in the preheated oven at 180ÂșC for 45-60 minutes (until a stick inserted in the cake will come out clean).
- Let it cool and revese the cake on a plate.
- Cover the cake in whipping cream and decorate as you wish.
