Homemade pizza

I love doing and eating pizza. But not every pizza, one with a good taste. Here it is the most common pizza I do at home.

  • 125ml watter
  • 225g all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon dried yeast
  • 3g salt
  • 1 tablesoon olive oil

  • 200ml tomato juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2teaspoon salt

  • 200g mozzarela
  • 1/2 bell pepper
  • 150g ham
  • 1/2 red onion

  1. Prepare first the pizza dough: add all ingredients (water, flour, yeast, salt, olive oil) in a standing mixer and mix well for 5 minutes.
  2. Let the dough inside the mixing bowl and place it in the warmest place in the house. In 1h30 the dough is doubled in size.
  3. Preheat the oven at the maximum temperature (mine is 275ÂșC)
  4. Oil a big pizza pan (mine has 34cm).
  5. Stretch the dough in the pan letting a higher border.
  6. Make a sauce by mixing: tomato juice + oregano + pepper +salt.
  7. Spread the sauce on top of the dough using a little ladle and spiral movements from center to borders.
  8. Slice the ham and spread it on top.
  9. Slice the mozzarella and spread it on top.
  10. Cut the bell pepper and onion in fine slices and spread it on top.
  11. Put the pan in the hot oven and in 10 minutes is ready to put it on the table.

It can be served with grated parmesan.
It's very easy to make. Sometimes I make double quantity of dough and I keep it in the fridge for 2-3 days in a closed bowl. I take it out and just stretch it in the pan.
