Sour cherry popsicles

This is that kind of recipe that can be made from one single ingredient. I made it however from 2 because I found the sour cherries being too sour this year. So, I added a some sugar.

  • 1 kg sour cherries (pits removed)
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar (or maple syrup or agave nectar). This ingredient is totally optional.

  1. Blend the sour cherries. If you prefer a very smooth texture you can filter the blended juice.
  2. Add sugar and continue to blend for 1 minute.
  3. Pour the juice in popsicle cases and freeze them for at least 4 hours.
