Broccoli quiche

I had some opened packages of cheese in my fridge and I wanted to use them in a quiche. As I had also some brocoli, I quickly invented a brocoli quiche.
For this tart you do not need salt if the bacon is salty. If it is not, just add some at your taste. Let's see it.


  • 400g shortcrust pastry
  • 400g cooked bacon
  • 150g gouda cheese (grated)
  • 1 broccoli head
  • 100g emmental cheese (grated)
  • 4 eggs
  • 250g sourcream
  • pepper
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg

  1. Stretch the shortcrust pastry and lay it on the bottom of a tart pan.
  2. Add the cooked bacon.
  3. Add the grated cheese.
  4. Add the broccoli.
  5. In a bowl, beat the eggs, add the sour cream, nutmeg and pepper.
  6. Pour over the the broccoli in the tart pan.
  7. Sprinkle the grated emmental cheese over.
  8. Bake for 1 hour at 220ÂșC
