Chocolate muffins

Are you in love with chocolate? I am, and I have tasted many chocolate cakes ... but these ones are.... oh my God... melting into your mouth, so soft and delicious ... my words cannot describe such an incredible taste. Try one and you'll forget about any chocolate cake you have eaten before ...

Ingredients: (for 8 muffins)
  • 150g + 40g black chocolate
  • 3 eggs
  • 100g butter
  • 100g flour
  • 50g sugar

Directions:
  1. Melt 150g of chocolate with the butter in a bain-marie pan. Stir slowly until completely combined.
  2. In the mixer bowl, put eggs with sugar and flour and turn on the mixer.
  3. Add the melted chocolate with butter (even still warm) while continuing to mix. Stop mixing when the composition is well combined.
  4. Pour the composition in cupcake molds by filling them only 3/4.
  5. Take the remaining 40g of chocolate, cut it in 8 pieces and push them in the center of the muffins. Use your finger or a knife to cover completely the chocolate pieces inside each muffin.
  6. Bake them for 15-20 minutes in the preheated oven at 200ºC.
When you take them out they are really raised (like in the photo bellow) but in 10-15 minutes they will shrink back. It is totally normal. If you do not eat them right away, heat them a bit in the microwave oven to get back the melted chocolate inside.
